- Only GCLGS graded labels will be considered
- All participants may use their real name or an unused
and approved alias
- All participants must submit the serial number of their graded
labels and they will be verified with
the GCLGS data base these numbers are for verification only and
will not be posted on the web)
Please also list any special designation (SS, ST, TR, VT, etc.)
InStone, Inc reserves the right to ask for confirmation of any
winning registry set by either:
a. personal visual confirmation OR
b. having participants send in scans of each GCLGS tag with the
barcode
- All the labels will be weighted based on the values and
grades set by InStone, Inc.
The grades and values will be updated by InStone, Inc and will be
based on supply and demand.
All employees of InStone, Inc are exempt from any and all
awards, but they may post their sets as
information only
- Only the *InStone 100 designated labels (inners, outers or
top wrap) will count for full value
These adjustments will be made for the various designations:
a. Salesman Samples (SS) will count for 90% of the weighted value
b. Slightly Trimmed (ST) labels will count for 75% of the
weighted value
c. Trimmed (TR) labels will out for 50% of the weighted value
d. Properly Trimmed (PT) labels are usually salesman samples and
will be counted for 90% of weighted value
e. Verified Titles (VT) will count for 85% of the weighted value
*Colombo VT is an InStone 100 designated label and will
count for full value
* Proof labels will not be counted
There
is no minimum number of labels
needed for participation in the complete set Participants can only receive one award per year.
- End of the year awards will consist of:
a. InStone 100 1st Place Set = $500 Gift Certificate from InStone, Inc &
$100 Gift Certificate from GCLGS
b. InStone 100 2nd Place Set =$125 Gift Certificate from InStone, Inc & $30 Gift Certificate from GCLGS
c. InStone 100 3rd Place Set =$75 Gift Certificate from InStone, Inc & $15 Gift Certificate from GCLGS
The winner(s) will be chosen between December 15th and
December 31st and will be announced after
January 1st
- How the labels are given weighted values:
a. InStone, Inc will evaluate the above average collectible
grade for each specific label
eg: if 50% of the known labels are in VF 6.0 (graded or not)
20% of the known labels are in EX 7.0 (graded or not)
10% of the known labels are in NM 8.0 (graded or not)
5% of the known labels are in Mint 9.0 (graded or not)
15% of the known labels are below VF 6.0 (graded or not) then the
above average collectible grade will
be EX 7.0
b. based on Supply and Demand, InStone, Inc will determine the
estimated value of the EX 7.0 label
c. the estimated value of that EX 7.0 label will be divided by
the estimated value of the complete set to
determine its
weighted value.
- "ATF" or All-Time Finest label will be noted in Bold &
Underlined
- Ties for 1st & 2nd, 2nd & 3rd, 1st, 2nd & 3rd, etc., in the
I-100 Complete Set will divide the combined Gift Certificates
